Brief Australian history of Steve:
Steve came overland from England in 1971 and lived in Darwin for one year. He then toured by motorcycle through the Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales, where he lived in Sydney for three years. Deciding to visit Perth he traveled through Victoria, South Australia, then back to the Northern Territory, before finishing the 25,000km journey in Perth Western Australia, where he set up home in 1975.

Steve has a history of working in Perth IT since 1979, when he started selling word processors at IBM for 3 years and then experienced the birth of the IBM PC in 1982. A one year assignment in Bunbury as Branch Manager for a Stott & Hoare IT subsidiary, confirmed that Perth had greater opportunities.
Background experience and corporate training in:3M, IBM, Epson printers and PC's, Stott and Hoare Amfac Chemdata Pharmacy software, Sun Unix products and services, Legato backup software, MPA distribution of SCO Unix, Total Peripherals PC assembly and dealer distribution, plus EMC storage direct sales.
